Before starting treatment

CRNA-administered care and anesthesia-level monitoring
Marla Peterson, CRNA, administers IV ketamine with anesthesia-level monitoring in a private treatment room. Vital signs are continuously monitored during the infusion. The CRNA is present during treatment but does not remain in the room continuously.
Tell the clinic about your current treatments and prescribers. Do not change medication without your prescriber’s guidance. Ask about preparation, transportation home, recovery, and follow-up before your appointment.
